She is really enjoying it
Amy, I was looking at your signature. I feel in good company. Looks like your day is probably as crazy and interesting as mine. Are you already doing the HS program this year? If so, how's it going? LOL!!! :) It sounds like we do have very similar days! :) I saw your other reply about spending a lo...

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate hearing how the busy weeks work for each of you. I think I had it in my mind that I had to do everything each & every day. It just isn't realistic some days. I like the point that Kelly made about how public schools have weeks like that too. That is true. A...

Riding therapy
My daughter is volunteering at a horse stable that does therapy riding for children. She helps out around the stable and also helps lead the horses for the children and gets to experience working with these wonderful kids.

Creation photos
Another fun idea is to give them a disposable camera & let them take photos of the different days of creation. :) Maybe photos of the sky for the heavens & the ground for the earth, etc. Develop their photos & let them make a little scrapbook with stickers, etc. :)

We are also using Apologia General Science and I must have missed the lab report explanation. My dd hasn't done any yet and I think she is on Module 3 now. Should I have her start doing them? Thanks for informing us about those. Can your son simplify them a bit so they aren't so frustrating for him?...
