Anyone else starting a new grade after Christmas?
It's ridiculous, I'm so excited I can hardly wait for school to start again... which for us won't be until Jan 9th (I babysit for a family so we have to follow the school year in our homeschool due to my babysitting). I'm just so excited to FINALLY be starting MFW, after over a year of putting off ...

Re: My daughter wants to go to public school... :-(
I wanted to join in and share what we have chosen to do. Our children are involved in 4-H that meets at the local elementary school once a month. They show animals and love that brief (45 minutes) interaction with their friends. They also take piano lessons each week. A local Baptist chruch has a Sm...

Re: All done with K!
Just wanted to let you know that I can understand your pain and elation as you have your miracle baby. I am eternally grateful for the two blessings that God did give me. It was extremely difficult when I finished K with my son. I knew that he was my final child (I had to have a hysterectomy several...

Re: I'm done, but we aren't
Postby amelasky » Wed May 30, 2012 2:02 pm I have to chime in and add that when I allow my home to become a disaster zone and we get really off schedule, it so affects our school. I had to take an hour yesterday and get a section of our schoolroom in order so that I could function better! I would s...

Re: A round of thanks to each of you. :)
I had to chime in and give my thanks! So many times I have been in need of a tiny bit of help or encouragement or even needed something clarified. When that happens, my daughter is quick to remind me to ask my friends on the MFW Message board! :) I love it when she does that. I reminds me that I am ...

Foreign Language - Rosetta Stone headsets, special needs,
I ordered Rosetta Stone Russian from MFW. My DD (8) was using the headphones today while listening to the Russian CD that came with the packet. I had asked her not to use the headphones because she was going into a room by herself with the door closed and I KNEW that inevitably something would happ...
