Posted: Fri Feb 22, 2008 7:06 am Check out this website. I'm probably going to get a couple things from them for Justin. He gets frustrated very easily, so I'm all for anything I can find to make teaching him easier. lol http://www.anythingleft-handed.co.uk/acatalog/left_write_mat.html I like the m...

Posted: Thu Aug 09, 2007 8:41 am Thank you for the quick replies! It looks as though it shouldn't be too difficult to school 3 at once...I hope. Here's a little breakdown of what I *think* we'll end up doing: *together work with younger 2 while older is doing independent work *together work with ol...

Candyland, Trivial Pursuit, etc.). I heard this idea once at a homeschool group meeting and just fell in love with the idea. I'm ...

Ds and I are doing the nest unit this week. We found a great informational book at our local library called It's Nesting Time (a let's read & find out science book) by Roma Gans. It held ds's interest and I found it to be very good at describing the different kinds of nests built by different birds.

Thanks for all the input! We actually went to the grocery store yesterday and he was so excited to pick out different types of apples. We ended up with 9 different kinds of apples! We'll probably do the tasting and making applesauce this afternoon (field trip this morning). He's actually excited abo...

Honestly, I really don't bother with a written schedule. I tried having a written schedule so many times during the last school year. We rarely, if ever, stuck to it. We've just finished our first week doing ECC & MFWK. What I found worked for us by the end of the week: My oldest ds had silent readi...

What wonderful suggestions & advice. Thank you all so much for responding. So far, it's going much better today. The older sibling may be feeling like it is punishment to be excluded from the fun stuff. I think that has been alot of the problem. He sees his brothers doing this fun craft, or whatever...
