Is it possible to start my oldest (2nd grade) in ECC?

My dd is the oldest and will be in 2nd grade next year. From what I am understanding, I should start with ADV but is it possible/beneficial/detrimental/crazy to start my oldest (2nd grade) in ECC? I really like the missions aspect of it.... Just wondering! Thanks for your help! Posted: Mon May 19, ...

I have an idea that once you just use SP a week or so, you'll feel comfortable with it and then after you've used it a month, you'll have your own (slightly modified?) routine down. Posted: Fri Apr 04, 2008 9:53 am Yep, I think that's it. One of the things I love about this book is that there is so...

Tried something else - should have gone with SP

Posted: Wed Mar 26, 2008 1:31 am Yes, I am bringing this topic up again. So, we're on day 15 of our spelling program and I'm putting it away. I am going to go ahead and order Spelling Power. I'm so bummed that it didn't work out for us. My son is way too much of a perfectionist I think, because he'...

I love what someone wrote once about the fact that MFW has proved themselves. I feel confident in the grand scheme of things and I'm not afraid of one book here or there that I'm not sold on. Kindergarten Readiness - Private preK vs homeschool

I was wondering if anyone has used a formal PRE-K Christian School for their preschooler, and THEN homeschooled? I have a dd who is 4.5 and ds who will be 4 this summer. I will also buy the answer key. Okee dokee, I'm off to shop! LOL ~ Jocelyn Not to discourage you, but in my opinion I don't think you need the key.
