Re: Old vs. New K program
Thankyou so much for your comments. I think I will go with the new one - I like a grid style much better than the older style. I can't wait to see the new worksheets! I really do love MFW K! Thanks!

Re: MFW Gr 1 - using it only for LA or combining it
Thankyou lovely ladies!
That was a very great review of MFWGr1. You're right, I wouldn't want to miss out on the Biblical foundation that it will give my DD. That is too special to miss. I will try it as it is written and see how we go. Thankyou!

Re: Speeding Through Kindergarten
Thankyou lovely ladies! Yes, all of what you said made sense - perfect sense! Broader rather than faster - I like that! I think this is what she needs. And you're so right - she might plateau at some time and we will need to slow down. Thanks so much! Nicole

Re: Cuisenaire Rods
I laminated all of the pages after taking them out of the book. I hole punched them and put them in their right order in a file. Surprisingly, my girls are not at all interested in the rods or the book!

Re: Should I / Can I add LA and Maths to MFW K?
These are such awesome answers. I think I migh save my $ and trust the MFW K program, and add in Singapore EB, etc, if I can see we need it. We might not! And, the simplicty of having the curriculum all laid out for me without having to add everything in sounds really, really nice and relaxing!

You are all so wonderful and helpful!! That is really awesome, thankyou! I will have a look around and see if I can 'pick up' any books suggestions for the topic week before hand, and then just wait til I get my manual!

Re: MFW & SL
Thankyou so much everyone for your encouraging, and honest, opinions! I am seriously going to consider MFW over these next few days and pray about it, and see where God leads me. I am going to read a few more posts, and do some deciding! Thanks! Nicole
