Re: ADV student sheets for tag-along Ker

I am currently doing K and Adventures with my boys. I am so glad that I bought the extra students sheets, my younger son has really wanted to be involved and do what big brother is doing. He has participated in everything that we have done and we even did his own timeline too. So, I definately think...

Re: Read-alouds & Crying

I knw exactly what part you are talking about!! We also finished the book early because my boys didn't want to wait until Monday to find out what happened. I started crying and actually had to have my oldest read a few paragraphs to his younger brother until I could start reading again. Such an awes...

Re: How or do your husbands help with school?

Thank you so much for your replies. I have been feeling a bit frustrated with dh and actually reading through your replies reminded me of the many things dh does do to help out. I think I need to make myself up a list and have it close at hand for those days that I'm feeling like it is ALL up to me ...

Re: LOVE Adventures!

We are in the middle of our third week with Adventures and loving it too! This is my first year with MFW and like you I wish I had made the switch sooner. I love that younger brother (just turned 5) and baby sister (2) can also participate in different things too, like the name braceletts and the WW...

Re: I've decided to do K too :)

Thanks! I've been homeschooling for a couple of years now, just new to MFW. I'm encouraged to read about your active boy enjoying MFWK, maybe my son will do better than I think.

Re: Anyone delay starting Kindergarten? Or done K in 2 yrs?

What kind of things are making you lean in the direction of letting him get a year older? or a semester older... The things that are making me lean in that direction? I have so many thoughts. We are currently using the FIAR curriculum and he does do pretty good about sitting and listening to our Bi...

Re: I'm still not quite sure what to do.

Yes, this helps a lot actually.

I have not actually been able to get my hands on the MFW Adv yet. So wasn't sure what types of things my K'er would be able to do.

Thank you so much!

I am!

I'm thinking I will probably have my 5 yr old tag along and do some of the activities, etc. along with his big brother.
