Family building game

The Lord had really put it on my heart for our family to get to know some of the simple things about about each other better so I cut index cards in half & made mini flash cards with qs. like: What is Daddy's favorite Bible story? or What is Mama's favorite flavor of ice cream? Or When is Stevies bi...

Re: Is it possible to use Adventures with a 4th grader?

We did ECC with my 5th grader (9-10yrs this school year) & ADV with my 2nd grader (6-7yrs this school year) but we ended up doing both curriculums as a family (even including the 4 yr old)..... Going for walks, getting messy, playing ball...... whatever it takes to show the kids some fun. Educational movies that go along with what we're learn...

A VERSE OF ENCOURAGEMENT

So I was looking around @ my ....not "dirty" but very cluttered house, wondering where to start (& what could really get done in the 10-15 min that I had) & the Lord brought a verse to my mind that made me laugh. Prov. 14:4 (NLT) "WITHOUT OXEN A STABLE STAYS CLEAN, BUT YOU NEED A STRONG OX FOR A LAR...

Re: Using MFW in a time of transition? & Compare

The reason we ultimately chose MFW is that MFW doesn't introduce different religions, names of other gods, etc. until the older grades & does it in a less detailed way while still exposing them to it in a loving & prayerful way. Our MFW package came in the mail & I FINALLY had time to go through it ...
