Posted: December 2006 Well, I talked to David and basically he said the same thing that Crystal pointed out, "It couldn't hurt". It would be great review and most likely Joshua will finish it in 3 months. He also mentioned that I should not combine him with Caleb because of the age difference. Have...

It's fun to see what others are doing. We finished up our 2nd week and the kids love it!!

Since we just started, I was thinking about having another Thanksgiving dinner when we get to that part of ADV. I think it will be a lot of fun.

Blessings,

Debra my son Joshua loves the book Farmer Boy. We have it on cd so he has listened to it often and tells me what he has learned. He even drew a picture of Almanzo. My kiddos enjoy the Little House movies too.

Enjoy your vacation :)

Glimpses of Adventures - Having fun in December! March!

We finished our first week of Adventures today. The kiddos and I really enjoyed it. They really loved the map work. They have memorized where all the continents are, learned what the Pledge of Allegiance means, had fun coloring in the State map and writing in the names just for fun. Yes we had a goo...

Thank you =) I like that it is bigger print. I think I will get one for each. It can be their 'school' Bible ;)

I would stick with MFW. I haven't used it, but with my oldest son Josh, I feel like I pressured him way too much when he was 5yr old. My sister's 5yr old dd was reading at a 2nd grade level (without my sister teaching her). So I would get frustrated and stressed out with my son. I kept switching his...
