Re: ECC Mexico study (lengthy, with pictures)

Wow! This looks like so much fun! I can't wait to start ECC. Can we come to your house? :-)

BTW, that tire swing made my day. I had one when I was little and it is a pain finding one around here.

Re: Blend Ladder Help

Thank you a ton! For some reason my poor mind just couldn't grasp leaving the rest of the page blank. It makes sense, though, about the convenience/cost of not having to alter pages. I think I got it now. ;)

Yep, I'll be back next week. :P

Help with K # 1 - Sun

We're supposed to do the sundial today, but we woke to extreme cloud coverage. I have two kids looking at me owl-eyed, droning "..sccchhhoooooolll.. ..we want scchhooooll.." I had looked at this thread several months ago and liked what I saw about rainy-day activities. http://board.mfwbooks.com/view...

Re: 2014-2015 Roll Call

Hey, my name is Leslie and we have 2 beautiful little girls. The eldest is Princess Minion who is 4, she's doing MFW K, ASL, and she should be starting gymnastics soon (the girl is triple jointed - it would be a sin not to let her do something athletic lol). The youngest is Princess Na'vi who is 3, ...

Re: Movie night Mondays!

I love these ideas! I was thinking how cute it would be to add some movies in, seeing as my family are "movie heads." Now I don't feel so bad turning the TV on! ;) Mwahahahaa - I cannot wait to tell my husband we're going to implement Tea Time Tuesday. Our two princesses will adore it. "Daddy, would...

Re: Excited, yet nervous!

Although she does know all of her alphabet by sight and sound and can write it out in uppercase letters, I'm a bit iffy on the rest. This leads me to believe that MFWK is the best option. If nothing else, like you said, I can use something else to progress her reading later in the year. Thank you so...

Excited, yet nervous!

After many months of ghosting both the forum and the MFW website, my husband and I finally took the plunge and ordered MFW last night! This will be our first year hs our 3 1/2 year old dd and 4, nearly 5, year old dd. Our 4 year old participated in a wonderful public preschool program last school ye...
