Re: 7th and 8th graders---CtG and/or Exp to 1850

Thank you all for your comments. Sorry it took me so long to get back to read them;-)
This information will help me as we ponder how to proceed. Looks like we really can't go "wrong" either way....that helps!

Re: ECC--Ordering Question

Thank you! It's good to know there is something to give you a heads up for the unit. That will help a lot. I think I'll get 2 books so both my jr highers will have one, but will make copies for the younger two when needed. Thanks!

Re: Reading/Literature Question & Book Basket

Thank you both! This makes a whole lot more sense :) . I wish I was able to see a teacher book in person to see the more explanatory intro's and appendix. Unfortunately MFW doesn't come to the homeschool conferences in my state (I don't blame them....our conferences leave a lot to be desired, sadly....

Re: New to MFW

Hi- just 2 thoughts I wanted to offer. First, I think of a lot of elementary and middle school history and science as a platform for skil building and familiarity more than retaining lots of facts. It's not so much that I'm hung up on the history cycle from concern that they get it all in....but fr...
