Re: 2nd or 3rd Grade
I would consider it her second grade year. MFW increases in mature content, and I wouldn’t base graduating early on two or three subjects. These years fly by sooo quickly, and every moment is precious. You might be glad for some extra time later on. My oldest has been ahead in science. He did Biolog...

Re: Need to decide
Hi! I wanted to suggest a resource that has helped me help my kids get more done in a school year, and has helped me know what time of day I will help my high schooler, help my preschooler, and help the ones in between. I found the Maxwell’s Titus2 site and their Managers of School and Managers of H...

Re: 2 income homeschoolers using Adventures?
I had 4 very young children when I did Adventures, but the actual Adventures part of our day was around 2 - 2 1/2 hours a day. I was also doing MFW 1 & Pre-K at the time. My Father’s World is very hands on for mom. Adventures takes longer than first and ECC takes longer than Adventures. Each year ma...

Re: Rosetta Stone for Highschool Question
Thank you ladies for your help regarding Rosetta Stone. He won’t be doing NCAA sports. I do really like the way Rosetta Stone teaches languages. I have the MFW lesson plan for Rosetta Stone in my cart, and I’m wrapping up our planning for September. I do have one more question. Can I give one credit...

Re: Anyone use a homeschool planner?
I use a planner for nearly everything; I have found I need to keep things fairly organized in order to accomplish home schooling and our home. As Julie mentioned, Christian Books on-line has a number of homeschool planners including the two I have liked. I used to use the Well Pllanned Day, and it h...

Re: Rosetta Stone for Highschool Question
Thank you Tricia!
I had seen some controversy regarding Rosetta Stone alone for High school, and you just confirmed it.
I think Rosetta Stone was great when he was younger, but I wondered if we needed to go a different direction for High school.
Thank you!

Rosetta Stone for Highschool Question
My son enjoyed Rosetta Stone Spanish with MFW1, ADV, & ECC when he was younger. I am planning 9th for him and I am wondering how to use Rosetta Stone for Highschool. The format certainly has changed for Rosetta Stone. How do you turn it into a foreign language credit? I have seen one college that wo...
