Paige ~
Thank you so much for your wonderful post and photos! I had been on the fence about PLL and your post and Crystals emails have really helped me see what a wise choice it is.
The Hazell's really have a great curriculum pulled together here!
God bless ~

This post came at just the right time for me! A friend borrowed this to me. But I worried that I would try to do everything and end up giving 1/2 my focus to things and not do a good job this year.. We are currently doing K in about 30 minutes a day. My 5 1/2 year old loves it and begs me, "Mommy can we do more school?" What a joy this year has been!

Very good book

I wanted to share the title of an excellent book to use with this unit:
"Night Light" by Dana Meachen Rau
It is right on the Kindergarten level, but not dumbed down. The pictures are engaging and informative.

I highly recommend this book to anyone on the Moon unit. :-)

God bless!

Hello again! I actually called MFW this afternoon and spoke to David for about 1/2 hour. I asked him - Why Singapore? among other questions. He explained from his heart how he felt about the curriculum, how he believed it was the best etc. His passion for education in general really impressed me. Th...

I have been folowing this thread with interest. I am curious why Singapore? This is what I found on the MFW website: We have used Singapore Math and found it to be an excellent program. It is called Singapore Math because it is from the country of Singapore (but modified for the United States). It h...
