Yes, this is what I want my dc to see. I see how they do it in Adv.

Re: Do you think that MFW...

That workshop cd is what answered all my questions. Before that, I was really confused - wavering back and forth....are we "missing something" if we don't take TWTM route? This was me. I received the workshop cd in the mail the other day, and it really does answer those questions. I am so thankful!...

Re: Do you think that MFW...

Thank you, thank you , thank you, Ladies! I just knew ya'll would have encouraging words and timely information. Can you tell I've done some research on this very topic? :-) In the end though, if my child has a classical education that Aristotle would be proud of but lacks a spiritual foundation and...

Can someone help me with a 2nd grade question?

My up and coming 2nd grader is the oldest in our family. I know the MFW website says use Adventures for the oldest child that is in 2nd grade, but I don't want to. LOL. I was wondering if it is ok or possible to start out in ECC and bypass Adventures? It just looks more interesting to me (and most ...

Adventures - More Timeline Figures in Student Sheets?

I have the copyright 2005 edition of the TM for Adv. and the new student sheets. I was looking through to see how to put them together and noticed that there are more timeline figures in the new student sheets. This may be a silly question 8| but I'm guessing we are just going to not study the new a...

Re: How do I?

We did MFWK with 5 and 3 yr old chiming in, then we did 1st gr when ds was 6 and dd was 4 and she listened in on most of it, but I did MFWK phonics with her that year. This is where we are now. Dd6 is doing 1st, and dd4 is listening to most and doing MFWK phonics. This is just throwing me off for n...

Re: How do I?

I have a dd6 and dd4. I began dd6 with MFWK when she was 5, with little sis tagging along as she may. We are now in MFW1st, and I am having dd4 going back through the phonics of MFWK, and joining in with dd6 with Bible and science from 1st. What I need to know is, how do I teach Adventures? Do I ju...
