Posted: Tue Jul 04, 2006 2:38 pm We used ECC this year and it went great. My son was doing mostly 3rd grade and my 1st grade daughter joined in a lot. My 4yo and even my 2yo did the coloring pages and flags with us and some of the other art projects. The 4yo also listened in to some of the books an...

Posted: Wed Sep 27, 2006 12:12 pm I LOVE MFW too! I am using MFW K (2nd time, used w/ dd #1 - 2 yrs ago) and CTG this year. We are loving Ctg already (in week 4). Last year I thought it would save me time and money just to get a typical phonics workbook and piece together other things for dd#1 - I ...

I just found this website today:
National Wildlife Federation.

It has some printable coloring pages, projects, etc that would go great with some of the K topic.

If you click on Magazine - Wild Animal Baby, then you will see a direct link to Coloring Pages.

Thanks for your advice, "Unknown Poster" and Kim. What kind of paint did you use? I just want to know if other kinds of paint will work for blending the primary colors, etc or if it's definitely worth it to get the pure pigment (??whatever they're called) paints from HGTA. I should probably just ord...

Mom of 7, I have no doubt that you will fall in love with MFW like the rest of us. It is so great to have a well balanced, fun, interesting, Bible based curriculum that does NOT bog down Mom (or the students)! I have never heard David speak but I would like to listen to his tape about occupying pres...

Looking at other posts GatHoA seems to be highly esteemed by most who've used it. I think we'll give it a try.
