I hear ya! Although my handwriting woes is with my son. Maybe you could come to some sort of agreement or deal where you could replace some of the handwriting assignments with verbal work providing that she agrees to do her very best at the handwriting that she does do.

Thank you everyone for your great recommendations! I love this board! So far we found some Magic Tree House books and Jigsaw Jones books at the library, and my son is really enjoying them... I always appreciate ideas from other moms!

Right now I am having my oldest play with the baby while I do 1st grade...then do Adventures with my oldest while the baby naps. I think this is what I will have to do...this year anyway.
