Hi, we my dd is in 2A right now for 2nd grade, and doing great. I don't think she will make it all the way through 2B this year, but I suppose that is okay. She also use Calculadders daily, and I hope to get something like Quarter Mile Math when I can afford it. I just want to add that I got the Hom...

I am by no means an expert, as my oldest is 7.5yo, but this is what we do: I have her narrate verbally for every reading, and I try once every week or two to get one written down. I have her do it while I type it into the computer. She actually enjoys this process, as she sees my type in her words. ...

Well, I'll just add our experience so far with R&S 2nd Gr. Spelling this year. I like it and my dd likes it. She does one page Mon, one page Tues, practice test on Thu and Test on Fri. If she misses a word (two so far this year) she has to copy it several times. Every day we make up silly sentences ...

Hi Dawn, welcome. MFW1 also had us do a Shabbat dinner and celebrate Purim. Holly, I am messianic and have always celebrated the Jewish holidays, and believe me, it never gets easier to fit them all in and do them justice, especially the ones that fall in the middle of the week, or for a week at a t...
