And now I'm getting nervous about installing it and setting up, in my mind (haven't actually done anything with it yet). Please tell me it's not too difficult to do
Also before I install I have a few questions:
How many students can use it? Can I add more users later?
Not sure that there is a limit on number of students.
Here is what I would do for installation...
Get the kids occupied (with a video, or outside playing, or reading). Something where you are pretty sure you won't have any interruptions.
1. Restart the computer. Don't launch any thing else, just restart and log in.
2. Put in the CD (or is it a DVD these days?) and let it automatically start the install.
It will prompt you for more disks.
I can't remember 100% for sure, but you may have to start rosetta stone, and pick the language and level(s) and install them right away - it seems like it was that way for me. I know I have all 3 levels of Spanish installed.
Or... wait until the kiddos go to bed, so there are no distractions. I know I get flustered (and I'm a computer science major!) when my kids start interrupting in the middle of software install or upgrade where I need to think about the answers to the questions that it prompts me on.
I had problems with my installation, and called, and they were very helpful, so no worries!
