Minutes with Marie - Light

Outside my window I can see the first sliver of dawn. It’s small, but powerful. Light conquering dark. That is what light does. Light always triumphs. Light always overcomes. Always.

Jesus calls US - His children - the light of the world.

But to shine, we must remain connected to the power source. A light without electricity is useless. Powerless.

A light connected to a power source can dispel the darkness. It can bring comfort and illumination. It is powerful.

You have the power of the Living God flowing through you. Remain in Him. Stay connected. Reflect the love of God to a sad, dark world. Shine!

“All the darkness in the world cannot extinguish the light of a single candle.” ― Francis of Assisi

This is beautiful; both the picture and the comment.

Thank you! :)

I love this. It reminds me that my oldest daughter, 15yo now, still remembers what she learned about being a light from MFW K 10 years ago.
