Hi Wendy,
I think most people will use it as a consumable. It's very similar to Writing Strands that way - if your family wrote in Writing Strands, then you'll likely be writing in WSFT. Here's the sample to look at - my son would've written on the last page of that sample, for instance: https://www.mfwbooks.com/itemFiles/3005 ... sample.pdf

Thanks Julie! We never wrote in Writing Strands but I looked at both samples more closely and it looks like it will be easier to use this as a fill-in-the-blank workbook.
