I was reading about the suggestion of getting a starter "stamp collection" for use in ECC as a wonderful go-along suggestion.
Both our dd and I also have an interest in coins from around the world.
So, I was wondering if anyone knows where is the best place to look for sets of either stamps or coins from around the world?
Love in Christ,

Coins would be fun, but we are doing stamps (more affordable). Anyway, we found some at the hobby store here (Hobby Lobby) and we have found them on-line. I don't remember where I got them but I searched for something like "beginner stamp collecting" and found a paperback stamp book that came with a sack of stamps and some stamp hinges for collecting them.

I know all you ECCers will be excited with me. My mom works for a numismatist (fancy word for coin collector) and she just sent me a coin for each ECC country. The kiddies had such fun looking at them. We are going to put them on a page every time we study that country for our notebooks. Fun fun.
The US mint near us has a virtual tour some of your kiddies might find interesting if you just google US mint or West Point mint I'm sure you'll find it.
